You are invited to a journey into nature with the Hıdırnebi Plateau and Çal Cave Full-Day Tour, one of the most enjoyable routes of your Trabzon holiday. This Trabzon departure day tour begins in the morning with pick-up from your hotel or meeting point. As you settle into our comfortable vehicles, you step into a smooth and pleasant journey where you will experience the Black Sea culture up close.
On this Trabzon departure tour, our first stop is the fascinating Çal Cave, famous for its magical underground world. As one of the longest visitable caves in the world, it offers a peaceful walk accompanied by the sound of dripping water and the gentle flow of a stream inside the cave. You will explore this unique underground world and photograph the natural artworks formed by stalactites and stalagmites over millions of years.
After the cave visit, we head towards the Hıdırnebi Plateau at 1600 meters altitude. This journey from cave to plateau is not just a transfer, but one of the most colorful parts of the tour. While passing through the rural areas of Akçaabat, you will see lush hazelnut gardens, wooden village houses on the hillsides, and local people working in the fields, witnessing the region’s rural lifestyle like a live documentary through your window.
When we reach the top, a completely different atmosphere welcomes you, far from city humidity and noise. The Hıdırnebi Plateau is like a cool oasis during the hot days of July and August. While breathing in the fresh mountain air, on clear days you will be amazed by the view of Trabzon city center and the endless blue of the Black Sea from the plateau. If it is foggy, you will experience the mystical atmosphere of the famous “sea of clouds.” After walks on the plateau and some free time, those who wish can enjoy a pleasant break to taste local flavors.
At the end of the day, relaxed and with your phone gallery full of impressive memories, we start our return to Trabzon. After a day filled with nature, fresh air, and beautiful moments, we arrive in Trabzon in the evening and drop you off at your original pick-up points.
Departure Guarantee & Cancellation Policy: A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to depart. If the number is not met, the tour will be cancelled with a full refund. Alternatively, with your approval, we may merge your booking with our partner agencies to ensure your holiday plans are not disrupted.
Meeting Point & Time: Our tour departs from the meeting point in Trabzon city center. Please be ready at the specified time; there may be a flexibility of up to 15 minutes in arrival times due to traffic conditions.
Hotel Pickup: If your hotel is outside our operation zone, you may need to update your location before the tour date. If you haven't booked a hotel yet, you can select the "I will let you know later" option during registration and add this information afterwards.
Lunch: The lunch break will be given during free time at Hıdırnebi Plateau. Your tour leader will provide helpful recommendations for the best local restaurants and regional delicacies to suit your taste.
ID & Preparation: We recommend carrying your Passport or ID card due to possible security checks in the region. As the plateau weather (1600m) can be cool and changeable even in summer, we recommend bringing a raincoat/cardigan and wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Program Changes: The tour guide reserves the right to modify the program itinerary for the safety of guests in case of adverse weather conditions, road safety issues, or force majeure.

This was my 3rd tour with Zenofon and it was perfect as usual. It was an amazing trip. Mr. Samil, our tour guide, was really professional and was explaining about each destination and giving a brief history. Also the food at each stop was amazing. He was really flexible with time and wouldn’t rush. He also shared with me the list of shopping destinations in Meydan. Our van driver Mr. Tolago was really nice and his driving skills were amazing. Overall the best trip since I came to Trabzon. Would really recommend trip with them and zenofon
Our trip was amazing and our guide Şamil Planed everything from the beginning till the end to have a full experience and fun , I just have to thank him for taking good care of me and my mom , he was asking all the time how I was feeling and if everything was according to my liking which is really rare these days but this company is the best you will always feel like you are in home with them. And finally my special thanks to Ismail Abby for his amazing and skillful driving. Hidernebi was my last trip in Trabzon and I think it was the perfect ending of my trips . This trip started with visiting underground cal cave which I recommend having a jacket with you because it’s so cold but worth the visit. Then we went to hidernebi to have lunch and free time . hidernebi is a place above mountains where you will fell like your walking in clouds (very romantic if I may say ) and the little drops of rain will make your day . Don’t forget to try the bubble waffle it was so delicious . At end we visited the sera lake which is an wonderful lake in a big garden surrounded with fruit trees.
