The Private Ayder Plateau Day Trip from Trabzon is meticulously planned for guests who wish to explore one of the Black Sea’s most special natural routes with a comfortable and flexible schedule. Your tour begins in the morning from your hotel or preferred meeting point in Trabzon with our private air-conditioned VIP vehicle. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by a local guide or an experienced driver guide who knows the region intimately.
This enjoyable journey, where you will witness the harmony of blue and green along the Black Sea coastline, continues towards Firtina Valley, where nature is most generous. Upon reaching the valley, accompanied by the enthusiastic sound of the Firtina Stream, we shape the break entirely according to your pace. Guests can enjoy a peaceful coffee break by the stream, while others can experience the valley from an adrenaline-filled perspective with optional activities like Zipline or Rafting.
After the activity break, we turn our route to Ayder Plateau, located at the foothills of the Kaçkar Mountains, floating above the clouds. When you arrive at the plateau, the enchanting view of the Bridal Veil Waterfall (Gelintülü), the region's iconic symbol, welcomes you. During this free time, you can inhale the fresh scent of pine forests, enjoy the panoramic view integrated with Black Sea nature, and have your lunch at the plateau's distinguished restaurants based on your guide's recommendations.

By adding this experience to your tour during the reservation process, you can divert our route deeper into Firtina Valley. In this option, we first visit the historical Senyuva (Cinciva) Stone Arch Bridge, famous for its natural beauty and for being the filming location of many popular series and movies. Then, we climb to the magnificent Zilkale, built like an eagle's nest on the steep cliffs of the valley. In this mysterious structure stretching from the Middle Ages to the present, you have the privilege of witnessing the most dramatic view of the valley. (Note: This route cannot be added on the tour day; it must be selected during booking.)
This special tour program offers not just a trip, but a holistic Black Sea experience extending from the wild nature of Firtina to the peaceful atmosphere of Ayder. With the narration of a guide or driver guide who knows the region best, private transport comfort, and flexible time management, we ensure you use your day most efficiently. On the return journey (depending on timing), we take a break at the Rize Tea Bazaar to see the giant tea glass monument and end the day with delightful local shopping.

Before You Go: The tour starts and ends at your hotel in Trabzon city center. Upon request, pickup can also be arranged from Trabzon Airport. At the end of the tour, drop-off is available at hotels in Trabzon, Rize, or Ayder Plateau, as well as Trabzon / Rize Airports.
The Şenyuva Village and Zilkale route is optional and cannot be added on the tour day; it must be selected during booking.
Before the tour, our local operations team will contact you to confirm flight and transfer details. Completing the Participant Information Form included in your booking confirmation email is required.
Lunch Break: The time and location of the lunch break are flexible and arranged according to your preferences and the guide’s recommendations.

This is my second time visiting Trabzon and using Zenofon to help us with the tours within around Trabzon. I have to say, they have been nothing but excellent both times.
