IntroIntroduction
This 2-day private Eastern Black Sea tour from Trabzon is created for travelers who would rather spend their limited time among mountain landscapes, river valleys and highland scenery than on city sightseeing. The itinerary brings together two of northeastern Turkey’s most popular nature routes—Ayder and Uzungol—while introducing you to the very different landscapes of Firtina Valley and Solakli Valley.
On the first day, travel through Firtina Valley toward Senyuva, Zilkale and Ayder Plateau, with stone bridges, mountain villages and views of Gelintulu Waterfall along the way. Optional rafting, zipline and swing experiences are available for travelers who want to add some activity to the day. The second route moves east through Surmene and the Black Sea tea-growing area before following the green Solakli Valley to Uzungol, where lake and mountain scenery take center stage.
Because this is a private tour, the vehicle and professional guide are dedicated to your own party. You are not tied to the pace of a large group, making stops, sightseeing and photo opportunities feel more relaxed and personal within the planned itinerary. Airport meet-and-greet, private transportation, guiding and one night of accommodation in Trabzon are arranged in advance, making this a convenient choice for couples, families or small private groups looking for a short nature-focused escape in the Eastern Black Sea.
Day 1Airport Arrival, Fırtına Valley and Ayder
Depending on your travel plans, we meet you at Trabzon Airport or Rize-Artvin Airport and begin the first day of your private Eastern Black Sea tour. From the airport, you continue by private vehicle toward Fırtına Valley, where you may join optional activities such as rafting, ziplining, or the giant swing, or simply enjoy some quiet time surrounded by nature.
We then visit Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Village and see the historic Çinçiva Stone Arch Bridge before continuing to Zilkale, set high above the valley. Afterwards, we head to Ayder Plateau, where you will see Gelintülü Waterfall and have free time to explore at your own pace. You may relax at a local café, take a short walk, or simply enjoy the surroundings.
At around 17:00, we leave Ayder and return to Trabzon. After checking in at your hotel in the city center, you will have free time until the following day’s tour departure. You may rest, enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice, or explore Trabzon city center at your own pace. With a private vehicle and guide dedicated exclusively to you, you can enjoy the day at a comfortable pace with flexibility for stops when needed.

The tour can begin from either Trabzon Airport or Rize-Artvin Airport, depending on your preference. To make the most of the first-day itinerary, we recommend choosing a flight that arrives at Trabzon Airport by 09:00, or at Rize-Artvin Airport by 10:30 at the latest. If you have not had breakfast, a short breakfast stop can be arranged at a suitable place along the route upon request. Optional activities in Fırtına Valley are not included in the tour price and are paid locally.
Day 2Uzungöl, Solaklı Valley and Return to Trabzon
After breakfast at the hotel, we complete the check-out procedures and set off toward Uzungöl in your private vehicle. As we follow the Black Sea coastline, we make a short stop in Sürmene, where you can see traditional handmade knives, before visiting a tea factory to learn more about Black Sea tea, one of the region’s best-known local products.
Our journey continues through Solaklı Valley until we reach Uzungöl. We first stop at the Uzungöl Viewpoint to enjoy views over the lake and surrounding mountains, then continue to the lakeside area and the Artificial Waterfalls. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore at your own pace. You may walk around the lake, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, relax at a café, or simply spend time discovering Uzungöl as you wish.
At around 17:00, we leave Uzungöl and return to Trabzon. At the end of your private tour, we complete the program by dropping you off at Trabzon Airport or a preferred location in the city center, depending on your onward travel plans.

Departure from Uzungol for the return to Trabzon is planned for around 17:00. Under normal traffic conditions, arrival at Trabzon Airport is expected at approximately 19:00.
If you are flying out on the same day, we recommend choosing a flight departing at 21:00 or later to allow sufficient time for possible traffic or road delays. At the end of the tour, you may be dropped off at Trabzon Airport or a preferred location in Trabzon city center.
The KomCafe Summit Viewpoint visit is an optional extra and is offered subject to the day’s operating conditions.

If you are flying out on the same day, we recommend choosing a flight departing at 21:00 or later to allow for possible traffic delays. The tour can end at Trabzon Airport or in Trabzon city center, depending on your preference.
Local Fees: Small local entrance fees that may apply during the itinerary, as well as optional activities, are not included in the tour price and are paid locally.
